1. beat around the bush - घुमा फिरा कर बात करना 

2. Better late than never - कभी ना करने से भला है देरी से करना

3. Call it a day - काम रोकना 

Example: I will call it a day and go home - मैं काम बंद करके घर जा रहा हूँ.

4. Hit the sack - सो जाना 

5. Pull someone's leg किसी का मज़ाक उड़ाना 

Example: Don't feel bad, he was just pulling your leg - बुरा ना मानों, वो बस तुमसे मज़ाक कर रहा था.  

6. Under the weather - बीमार होना 

Example: She is under the weather since last night. - वह कल रात से बीमार है.
